Tea Time at Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse

      There are 2 kinds of people out there, tea drinkers and coffee drinkers. We don't discriminate against either here at Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse. Not only do we provide specialty coffee and espresso, but we've got the fix for the tea connoisseur too.
      Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse owners, Gerry and Melissa Owen, wandered all across North Texas in search for the most creative and exclusive teas for their new shop, and finally discovered Fusion Teas one weekend at McKinney Trades Day. This local distributor gathers their teas from Canada, in assurance that they are like no other around. Fusion Teas, owned by Thomas Egbert, spent the day with the coffee shop baristas to train them on all things tea, focusing on the importance of steeping each tea at its accurate temperature- which is something most shops tend to overlook. All teas can be prepared with the Teaball for 2, Pour-Over, and hand prepared to-go pouches for when youre on the run. Iced tea is steeped to order to insure freshness and tasting pleasure.

Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse Grand Opening

After months of building and planning, Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse Grand Opening is set for Monday, July 29th. Be there bright and early as the doors open at 7AM sharp! We will be serving fresh espresso from our beautiful La Marzocco espresso machine, aromatic teas, coffee, and yummy baked goods. A New Plano Coffee Shop, Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse

Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse is an eclectic independent coffee shop located in historical downtown Plano, Texas with a living room feel and cozy atmosphere. We believe there is a way to do coffee right and we strive to do that in all areas- right down to our hand selected local roasters, Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters.

We brew different specialty coffee and tea drinks that are served both hot and cold, as well as all natural 100% Fruit Smoothies and Frappes, that are sure to cool you off in the hot Texas summer months!

With the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we offer an assortment of "grab and goes", so you can eat on the run and get to your destination on time. In the mornings we offer delicious Danish pastries, breakfast tarts, several different flavors of loaves, and of course yummy muffins. Our afternoons are full of gourmet cookies and brownies. Late nights  consist of a variety of scrumptious- out of this world- specialty pies made local and with the love of a grandmothers recipe. The flavors vary with the season.

Fourteen Eighteen Coffeehouse support the local artist community by rotating art from different artists and we provide a venue for musicians to play their music, typically on Friday or Saturday nights.

Our enthusiastic staff of baristas are dedicated to making your coffee experience more than an exchange of of product, but a personal exchange of life.
